The terms of using Kosh.
Short, and in plain words. These apply to a firm we have set up on Kosh and to the people it adds.

The short version
What your firm puts into Kosh stays your firm’s.
The audit, and its conclusions, remain the firm’s.
No public price. Any fee is agreed in writing first.
Stop at any time. Your papers are unaffected.
Accounts
Your firm decides who is on its team and what role each person holds. People sign in with their own Microsoft work account and do not share it.
When someone leaves the firm, the firm removes their seat.
Your data stays yours
Everything your firm puts into Kosh belongs to your firm. We use it to run the service for you and for nothing else.
Your workpapers rest in your own SharePoint throughout.
The audit remains yours too
TACT organises the audit. It does not perform it. It computes no tax position and files nothing with any authority. Every conclusion, every sign-off and the Tax Audit Report itself remain the professional responsibility of the firm and the Partner who signs.
Fair use
- Do not try to reach another firm’s data.
- Do not try to get around sign-in, roles or the lock on a closed engagement.
- Do not use Kosh in a way that disrupts it for other firms.
Availability
Kosh is an early product. We work to keep it running and to fix faults quickly, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption.
Fees
There is no public price yet. Any fee is agreed with your firm in writing before it applies.
Ending
Your firm can stop using Kosh at any time, and we can end a firm’s access if these terms are broken. Either way, the papers in your SharePoint are unaffected, including the lockdown report and audit trail filed for each locked engagement.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date beside them changes too.
